Hello! My name is Morgan Perry. I’m a student at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in journalism. I aspire to be a news anchor for NBC one day, reporting on national news and politics. I’m also interested in magazine writing and investigative journalism. My pre-graduation goal is to do one journalism or film internship, study abroad in Italy, and be a writer for the Daily Tar Heel. Post-grad, I hope to work as a local news anchor to start a long, successful career.

- My favorite journalists are Lisa Ling, Abby Phillips, Jemele Hill, and Barbara Walters.
- My favorite foods are Philly cheesesteaks, salmon, lasagna, and chicken tikka masala.
- I did color guard for two years in high school. My experience inspired me to make a micro-documentary on my high school marching band.
- I’m a staff writer for Black Ink Magazine at UNC covering pop culture and student events.
- I sing with the Voices of Praise Gospel choir at UNC.
